OUTLINE ITINERARY

The following itinerary is a working guide only and might be a subject to change due to local conditions, weather and governmental restrictions

Day 1  (8th July 2023, Saturday)
Arrive in Mineralnye Vody. Transfer to Baksan Valley in Elbrus area. Hotel at 2100m.

Day 2 (9th July)
Acclimatisation walk either to the Cheget shoulder, 3100m (magnificent viewpoints over Elbrus) or to Devichi Kossy (Girlish braids) whaterfall, 2800m, then continue to Observatory on the slope of Terskol peak, 3125m. Return to hotel.

Day 3 (10th July)
Drive to Azau Cable Ways station. Lift up to Old Viewpoint, 3000m. Accommodation in a lodge at 3000 m. Acclimatisation walk up to 3500-3800m

Day 4 (11th July)
We take a cable way up to 3800m. Accommodation in a hut. Acclimatisation walk to Pastukhova Rocks, up to ca. 4800m. Return to the hut.

Day 5 (12th July)
Acclimatisation walk on Elbrus. Or depending on the weather forecast an Attempt on Elbrus.

Day 6 (13th July)
Attempt on Elbrus.
Please note: Only one Summit attempt is included in the trip price. Spare day is for bad weather conditions.

Day 7 (14th July)
Descend by cable ways and drive back to the hotel in Baksan Valley. Hotel.

Day 8 (15th July)
Drive to Mineralnye Vody airport for the flight home.
