Our team

Our staff is a strong and friendly team of hard-working professionals. Our passion to traveling to remote areas unites us in our mutual aim to provide our customers with unforgettable and very special holiday. Mikhail Samarski

Mikhail, our principal, has guided our very first groups to Mt Elbrus at the beginning of 90's. Has got his bachelor’s degree in landscape studies at St. Petersburg State University. For several years he has worked for the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, the Institute of Geography, participated in and arranged numerous expeditions to many remote areas. He has been operating in tourist business since 1989.

Victor Komarichev

Victor took part in numerous ascents of Elbrus and other mountains in the Caucasus - in Adylsu, Adyrsu, Bezengi, Arhyz, Dombai, Aksaut, Maruha, Uzunkol. He is an expert in skiing, ski-touring in the Adyrsu Valley. Apart from the Caucasus Viktor has been guiding in the Kola Peninsula and the Pamirs.

Irina Kryzhnenko

Irina has 30-years mountaineering and 13 years guiding experience. She is an expert in ski-touring, trekking, climbing. She is working in the Caucasus (Elbrus, Adyrsu, Adylsu, Dombay, Bezenghi, Arhyz), Carpathian mountains and Crimea.

Anna Drozhzhina

Anna has been climbing and mountaineering in Russia, in the territory of former USSR and around the world since university time, and started to organize expeditions since 2009. Interests: rock-climbing, high altitude climbing, travel to remote destinations. She is working as a guide in climbing tours, ski-tour, trekking and cycling tours. She knows such regions as the Caucasus (Elbrus, Bezenghi, Arhyz), Altai mountains, Kamchatka, Tadjikystan (Pamir,Fany mountains) Kyrgistan (Tian Shan), Kazakhstan, China (Qionglai Mountains in Western Chin), Georgia (Svanetia), Patagonia (Argentina, Chile), Marocco (Atlas Mountains)

Sergei Fursov

Sergei is real outdoor person spending most of his time in the mountains climbing and skiing. He is very experienced and reliable mountain guide. He has won Elbrus race in 2009 in extreme class (route from 2350m to 5642m) "flying up" to the top of Mt Elbrus in 4hrs and 19 min (!!).
